- Risc OS 3 incorporates a system self test on power up. Normally, the
- screen goes blue, then pink. If the tests fail, the screen goes red,
- and the disc drive light blinks. From previous postings, it apppears
- that the drive light actually flashes a 32-bit binary sequence, giving
- an error number. Acorn should be able to tell you what is actually
- wrong with the machine, but I would guess you have a problem with some
- RAM somewhere (bad connection/broken track maybe).
