  15. I was wondering if there is an easy way of fitting/enabling 
  16. the serial port on an early A3000. (Without buying the upgrade kit).

  18. Is the support circuitary on the main circuit board, I assume is it.
  19.  
  20. If so, which chips are missing?

  22. Has anyone self fitted the chips and got the port working?
