  16.     Yeah... a new FAQ, I LIKE!! :)

  18.     I liked it :), One thing I've had problems with that you might want
  19.    to add to the FAQ is the hang on the boot problem. I've had the
  20.    problem in the past and when I go though the motions of booting 
  21.    from a floppy and three things will some times happen, FSCK will
  22.    bomb bad on block #2 (supper block?), my inittab is intack along with
  23.    a lack of a utmp.lck file. And to quote out of context from the 3b2 FAQ, 
  24.    when a fsck returns a cannot read block #2 you are up the creek and have
  25.    to rebuild (and to also misss quote). I have a very bad feeling my partition
  26.    is in a very bad sector of the drive (thats where most of my bad block 
  27.    entries are from). I'm not sure what is really happening but I thought I'd
  28.    pass that one along for the FAQ. Maybe you could label this as one time
  29.    out of a 1000. Oh I forgot to mention, thanks to the people who have helped
  30.    me in the past with this and may other 3b1 problems :)
