- being pretty much covered by two completely irreconcilable models (BSD
- and System V).

- You're going to have to dump BSD spooling, dump System V spooling, or
- dump both and create something out of whole cloth. If it's the latter,
- why not create a generalised batch queueing and scheduling system that
- just happens to include printing?
