- There are two factors here. One is a typographical error on page 20 of
- volume 2 which we didn't catch in time. Volume 1 and Appendix D of
- volume 2 are correct.

- The second is that Unihan is not a superset of Z39.64. We do not
- guarantee that everything in Z39.64 is represented in Unicode by an
- independent character. This is guaranteed only for JIS, KSC, GB, and
- portions of CNS. There may be 15686 characters in Z39.64. Only 13481
- were considered distinct.
