- I think it would be much wiser to use I higher level coding to indicate the
- language of a string of characters. The scheme you propose would mean
- indicating the language with every character you type -- I think a bit waste
- of resources, whereas other standards (SGML) provide means of tagging a
- character stream with this kind of information (although to me the SGML
- standard is not fully clear about how to tag the language used)
