I vaguely remember seeing an 8051 assembler (and.or tiny C) in a magazine, I think that it was Dr. Dobb's Journal a few years back. I think that they have an area on Compuserve where you could download it from. If not them, it was Computer Language Magazine possibly (who I think also keeps file on Compuserve).
