  14. We are phasing out VMS on our campus.
  15.  
  16. We have a large investment in VMS backup tapes in our
  17. tape library that we must be able to retrieve files from,
  18. long after the last VMS machine is gone.
  19.  
  20. Is there any commercial or PD code for UNIX that can
  21. read a VMS BACKUP tape?
  22.  
  23. Any information in this regard will be helpful.  Please
  24. email responses to me directly.  If there is widespread
  25. interest I will summarize.
