- I'm looking for a capture/playback mechanism to basically dump an interactive
- text session to a file and then have the capability to play it back. We're
- running Unix SVR3.2.3 on a Motorola 88k; NCD Xterminals are the primary
- interface to the machine. Running a shell within 'xterm', we can capture the
- data stream using a built in feature of 'xterm', but we have no playback.
-
- I remember on Sun there was a capture mechanism similar to 'xterm's, but I
- don't recall a playback. Quite some time ago I also recall an event logger that
- could capture and playback entire X sessions, complete with cursor movement.
- Unfortunately, I can't remember any of these utilities' names.
-
- Does ANYONE out there in net-land know of any software that can help? Any leads
- are greatly appreciated. Please respond back here to the net, as I'm not sure
- that my account is set up for e-mail.
-
- Thanks in advance.
