  30. I can advise you the so-called "ami Handboook". It contains more than a metric paradigms like the 
  31. GQM (in fact, an adapted GQM is part of the book) i.e. a stepwise and pragmatic approac
  32.  for the introduction of metrics in a software project. AMI (Application of Metrics in Industry) is
  33. an ESPRIT II project which is now at the end. Its task was to raise the awareness of metrics within
  34. the industry and produced among others documents and tool a handbook. The approach developed in
  35. the Handbook was tried in 20 various software projects across Europe and therefore the Handbook
  36. incorporate the feedback from these experiences.
  37. So far, some very big companies have decided to adopt the ami approach.
