- In the real world it is very unusual for a single individual to have all the
- traits you mentioned in the previous articles. People tend to be strong in
- some areas and weaker in other areas. I believe MOST managers solicit input
- from their staff in making schedules, determining manpower requirements, even
- equipment requirements. That does not mean the each staff member fully meets
- your specifications. I however happen to believe you put together a pretty
- good set of 'job requirements' for a software engineer. I like discussions
- that revolve around the 'real world' of software engineering. I mean if
- the software we produce does not add value to something/someone's
- company/organization we will not be in the business of creating it much longer.
