- For those of you who are still interested:

- There was a paper published in the American Journal of Physics by Weiland C.
- Marlow sometime around 1980 titled something like "The Dynamics of the
- Recursive Crossbow". The paper discussed ar great length the physics and motion
- of a crossbow and bolt. This information should be easy to transfer to a
- normal bow & arrow.

- I haven't read the paper, so don't ask me questions about the exact content.
- I happened to mention the problem to someone who used to work with Marlow
- and was told that the study had been done.
