  64. I received the following notice today:  If anybody sent mail and didn't get a
  65. reply, this could be why.  Please re-send any important messages.

  67. NOTICE:  Due to a software problem, some pending BITNET receive files
  68. between 12/1 and 12/23/92 have been lost.  All pending BITNET receive
  69. files between 12/23 and 12/30/92 have been lost.  Users expecting such
  70. files should contact the sending host for re-transmission.  Questions
  71. concerning this issue should be sent via E-mail to the account SYSTEM.

  73. The following information is repeated for those who need it:

  75. The charge per chip will be $16.00 U.S., + insurance.
  76. This price applies to chips shipped to the U.S. & Canada.
  77. To England, the price will be $16.50 U.S. per chip.

  79. These are being shipped U.S. Mail.  Insurance works as follows:
  80.         $0-$50.00       $0.75
  81.         $50.01-$100     $1.60
  82.         $100.01-200     $2.40
  83.         $200.02-300     $3.50

  85. I strongly recommend insuring each shipment for at least $50.  $0.75 is a
  86. small price to pay, and it allows the package to be tracked in case it does
  87. get lost.
