- The article (which i didn't read all of) discusses the pitfalls to
- watch for with the understanding that you can do a semblance of
- real-time under DOS (my biased interpretation).
- In May and June 1992 they presented a "Portable Real-Time Kernal in C".
- So if you want to "Roll Your Own"... (targeted the 80186 i believe)

- One of their issues also reviewed something like 40 RTOS's for the
- 8086 - 80x86 platform. I can't seem to find it right now.
