  18. At least the DOS ones.  The first one (conforming to v1.0 of the spec)
  19. came out last summer, there are now a few shipping that conform to v1.1.

  24. WinSockAPI is very specific to a Windows-style environment.  Microsoft has
  25. promised that it will run under NT, and IBM or other OS/2 TCP/IP vendors
  26. could provide it as part of a Windows emulation under OS/2, but it isn't
  27. likely to appear under things currently called "unix".
