- Not sure if this is possible. I have a 386-33, 8 megs ram, 120 meg hd, etc
- with a NE2000 Ethernet card in it. If I were to run Desqview/X and open
- up a say multiple Dos Windows (let's say 6 Dos windows). Could each window
- access TCP/IP PC-Telnet to a Unix server on the network ? Could these multiple
- windows using Telnet all access the same unix server from the same PC/MSDOS
- machine using the same ethernet card ? Or will there be conflicts between
- the different Desqview/X windows when they try to use the same ethernet card ?
- Can TCP/IP and Telnet support multiple outgoing telnets from the same machine
- and network card ? So I could have 6 programs running at the same time
- (Multitasking using Desqview/X on a 386) and all 6 of them using Telnet
- to a Unix server. They could be telneting to different unix servers actually,
- but it would all originate from the same machine, with the same ethernet card.
- Is this possible? (Don't know if you can tell from this message, but I do not
- yet know enough about TCP/IP connections to know the hell I'm doing, so hope
- I worded this correctly.)
