  19. This question applies not just to gopher; but to *all* the shareware
  20. packages out there that run over PCTCP.

  22. Would the authors of these packages have a problem with their packages being
  23. put up for anonymous ftp on vax.ftp.com?  This would at least consolidate
  24. the right packages to the right place.  FTP would not support those packages,
  25. but at least a user could be assured of getting the correct gopher, wais,
  26. archie, etc...
