- Does anyone know of a TCP/IP card having both unshielded twisted
- pair and thinwire connectors? This is in anticipation of a future
- addition of UTP to our net. The card must also have a packet
- driver interface.
-
- The SMC Combo card has all three interfaces, and it has an existing
- packet driver that works on it (wd8003e.com). Accton has a triple
- interface card that comes with a Crynwr-derived packet driver. The
- Kodiak Kombo also has a packet driver that is part of the current
- alpha test. The nice thing about the Kodiak card is that it
- auto-senses the correct interface (the one with a cable). No dates
- for the free release, but my customers who want it have it already.
