- We'd like to start using hesiod to distribute amd mount maps, and I'd like
- some input on how to setup the nameservers we have around campus to be able
- to find the hesiod domain we have setup on a server. Queries do not work
- now because there are no root servers for hesiod, so caching-only nameds can't
- figure out how to get to the name server on campus with the hesiod
- information.
-
- Two ideas we have (but have not tried yet) are to put lines in the
- root cache file (the one with the Internet root nameservers) to have a line
- that says the root nameserver for hesiod is our hesiod server, or to
- make each nameserver a primary for . in the hesiod class and put information
- in the domain file that points to our server.
-
- Any suggestions/ideas/whatever?

- Thanks,
