  13. Where can I find the definition for the WINSOCK
  14. API (the recently defined socket API for MS-Windows)?

  16. I would like to understand portability problems
  17. between UNIX and WINSOCK. For example, I assume
  18. that socket descriptors cannot be passed by
  19. the normal fork()/process-creation mechanism that
  20. is used under UNIX. If this problem exists, are additional
  21. functions introduced as an alternative socket passing
  22. mechanism?
