- Where can I find the definition for the WINSOCK
- API (the recently defined socket API for MS-Windows)?
-
- I would like to understand portability problems
- between UNIX and WINSOCK. For example, I assume
- that socket descriptors cannot be passed by
- the normal fork()/process-creation mechanism that
- is used under UNIX. If this problem exists, are additional
- functions introduced as an alternative socket passing
- mechanism?
-
- Thanks,
