- I was working with a unix kernel the other day whose TCP protocol was
- "sick", so I could not telnet or ftp to the system. But udp & ip were fine;
- ping and tftp had no problems.

- So I just wondered if anyone knows of a telnet-like thing which uses udp
- (or even raw IP?) so that you can log in and poke around even when half
- of the protocol stack has gone South?

- (I realize that some packets may be lost, but I don't think that matters
- very much in this kind of situation).
