- No, sorry, NFS cannot do what you want here. If you, say, mount /dev
- from one Unix machine to another, then you'll see the remote files all
- right - they'll be "special" and the "specialness" is interpreted on
- the local machine. So, no sockets, named pipes nor any char- or block
- special devices.

- PC-NFS will do even less since DOS doesn't have all these magic cookies.
