- At risk of asking what may be a FAQ, can someone recommend
- a Windows 3.1-based email reader? We have about 20 PCs
- connected via PC-NFS to our Sparcs. Many of our newer
- users do not like to use Sendmail or fuss with Unix in any
- way. Over the past couple of months, the lab installed
- Lotus's cc:Mail with a SMTP gateway. However, we found it
- very unreliable (the gateway just kept going down among
- other problems).
-
- So, most of us are back to Sendmail. Can someone recommend
- a Windows-based mail reader that will access the /usr/spool/mail
- file over NFS? I have heard of WinQVT, and it may suit our
- needs. Does anyone have any comments on it or others? I'll
- send copies to anyone who requests anything I get via e-mail.
- (If there are more than 5 requests, I'll post it).
-
- Thanks.
