  12. I am not sure if this is the appropriate group for this question,
  13. but I could not find anywhere better.

  15. I am interested in finding out more about statefull and stateless 
  16. protocols and how they are written and what features change a 
  17. protocol from being sataeless. The only glimmer of knowledge I
  18. have about them is that NFS is stateless and that this makes it far
  19. more resilient to the conection being broken temporarily.

  21. If any one knows of any texts or papers which discuss the topic
  22. a reference would be greatly appreciated.
