- The BBS sysops around here all recommend Zmodem. It reduces its block
- size in the presence of line errors to reduce retransmissions. It
- increases the block size again if things clean up. The best thing about
- if you're paying for a call is "crash recovery". If you restart a Zmodem
- transmission after a line drop, Zmodem detects that there is a partial
- file on the receiving end and just retransmits the missing data.
