  15. I plan to implement a part of MMS protocol (OSI AL protocol),
  16. expanded as Manufacturing Message Specification.  I have the original
  17. protocol definition and am learning the ASN.1 syntax.

  19. Can someone suggest me - how to go about implementing an OSI AL protocol.
  20. I mean are there any procedures, software tools, example implementations,
  21. related books which can aid a beginner.  I am not using an ISODEnvironment.
