Hello,

I have a delemar...

A staff member where I work has 2 printers, a macintosh with a 19"
colour monitor, which he uses as a server, and a macintosh laptop
which he takes from location to location, and on returning to his
office downloads the information gathered on the laptop into the mac
server.

Now the problem is this.  He now has an ethernet card in his mac
server, which he wants to have connected to the ethernet to receive
mail and take advantage of other equipment on the network.  BUT. he
cannot once he has changed the network software use the laser printers
in his office area, or use the mac server from his laptop because the
appletalk is touted through the ethernet card.

Is there ANY software that will allow both ethernet and local talk to
be send from the same mac??  I remember an apple sales person
mentioning something about using a macintosh as a gateway server from
local talk to ethertalk, but I cannot remember who said it or if it
could be done...

anyhelp would be appreciated..
