  14.     I'm trying to change my LaserWriter IIg so it no longer thinks it's a
  15. LaserWriter and instead is a 'LazerWriter' in order to limit access to
  16. the printer. The postscript code I use only works when the printer is
  17. connected via LocalTalk. When it is connected via
  18. EtherTalk, it takes the code with no errors, but it has no effect.
  19. The same code works fine for our HP EtherTalk printer and for a LW IINTX.
  20. The IIg manual doesn't have any information on this behavior - has
  21. anyone else run into this and know of a work-around? 
  22.     I know there is a ROM upgrade one can get to fix various other bugs
  23. with the IIf and IIg, but as far as I know this isn't one of the bugs. I am
  24. pursuing this line with Apple....
