  13. I currently have CAP 6.0 patch level 126 installed on our Sun 690 MP running
  14. Sun OS 4.1.3.  I am using the native EtherTalk mode, and providing
  15. AppleTalk services via aufs, lwsrv, and papif.
  16.  
  17. I now would like to use this computer to route AppleTalk traffic across
  18. it's 2 ethernet interfaces.  I've read the CAP documentation, and made
  19. an initial stab at this, but so far it's been a dismal failure.

  33. My questions:
  34. 1. Can I use only aarpd to do this, or must I also install uab?
  35. 2. Can I have both uab and aarpd both running at the same time?  I use
  36.    native EtherTalk since zone "B" is EtherTalk Phase II.
  37. 3. If not, do I have to abandon the native EtherTalk mode and rebuild
  38.    everything using the uab mode?
  39. 4. If so, does the following bridge_desc file look OK:

  48. The FAQ states that uab is only Phase I, but in the question above that
  49. statement it implies that uab can route between Phase II nets.
