  12. NetWare 2.15c with AppleTalk VAPs 2.15

  14. Strange problem #1:
  15. Locked files are being interpreted as aliases by System 7 machines.
  16. When one of these files is opened we get the message:
  17.      The alias "XXX" could not be 
  18.      opened, because this item is really not
  19.      an alias (oops!). The problem has
  20.      now been corrected. Please try again.

  22. The finder then "corrects" the problem, which results
  23. with an unlocked file. Everthing is normal under System 6.
  24.  
  25. Strange problem #2:
  26. When copying a folder with some files inside it from a
  27. local disk to a server disk we get the message:
  28.      The file "XXX" couldn't be
  29.      written, because it cannot be found. Do
  30.      you want to continue copying?

  32. Again, everything behaves normally under System 6.
  33.  
  34. I have rebuilt the desktop under Sys 6 but I don't
  35. know of a way to force Sys 7 to do it.
