- We haven't tried IPremoteAT with SLIP, but have had good results with IPremoteAT and
- MacPPP (available from merit.edu). Typical systems are either

- PowerBook 170, System 7.1, MacTCP 1.1.1, Network Install Kit 3.0

- PowerBook 170, System 7.0.1 + System 7 Tuner + PowerBook Tuner, MacTCP 1.1

- At DTE speed 19.2 and modulation speed 14.4 (V.32bis, V.42, V.42bis) performance is
- respectable. My experience with MacPPP indicates it is more robust and easier to
- configure than the SLIP implementation I used.
