  16. For part of control system for the Gemini 8 meter telescopes project, we are
  17. looking for VMEbus-based controllers for other buses. The purpose of using 
  18. non-VME systems for some of our subsystems is to avoid placing a full VME
  19. crate in locations that are both remote and only performing simple, relatively
  20. low bandwidth tasks.

  25.     IST/DATEM DMC804 (the old XYCOM XVME-402)
  26.     PEP Modular Computers Inc PB-BIT

  28. For GESPAC FILBUS:

  31. For Profilbus (German standard fieldbus DIN 19245):

  37. I understand that some of the buses can be controlled via various serial I/O 
  38. cards but it would be alot more helpful to have a VMEbus module that understood
  39. the bus controller logic at the firmware level.

  41. Also, any known VxWorks drivers for the above could be useful as well. I have
  42. access to drivers for serial controllers and for the XVME-402.
