  13.    First, I'd just like to say that, maybe? due to the start of a new semester
  14. at academic locations, the number of postings asking for help without providing
  15. enough information seems on the rise, again :-(  I've not looked at our Faq for
  16. awhile; is it made clear in there that information such as:
  17.  
  18.    Complete & accurate error messages supplied by the machine, and
  19.    how the application/program was invoked.

  21. should, at least, be included for a reasonable chance of understanding the
  22. solution?  If not, it -may- be reasonable to make such quite clear, maybe in
  23. the message sent to a user when he/she subscribes?
  24.  
  25.    Ok, back to a real (small) question: Does anyone have, know of, a procedure
  26. to perform the inverse of sys$update:vmsinstal, like maybe a deinstall?  I
  27. don't imagine that this is really possible, but I've been wrong before :-)
