  26. I'm not the one who asked for TAIL; my posting was simply to let people know
  27. that a TAIL-like feature was coming in OpenVMS V6.  I should have also pointed
  28. out that this was the direct result of a DECUS SIR request, so here's
  29. evidence that they work!

  31. Doing a good job of TAIL on VMS is not a piece of cake for variable-length
  32. records, as it's difficult to tell for sure where the previous record starts.
