  24. No, what he means is that your primary paging file must reside on your system
  25. disk.  The primary paging file is the one that gets used automatically when the
  26. system boots.  It must reside in the [SYSEXE] subdirectory of your system root
  27. and must be named PAGEFILE.SYS  That's the *ONLY* page file that VMS looks for
  28. early and automatically, and that's the *ONLY* page file described by the
  29. phrase "primary paging file."  Please note that in recent versions of VMS you
  30. do not have to have a primary paging file.
