  32.     well, that's bizarre. yes, i just tried it on a VMS V5.5-2 system.
  33.     since we have a password policy active, i SYSGENed LOAD_PWD_POLICY 0
  34.     and tried setting my password to my username. it worked! are
  35.     you posolutely sure you don't have a password policy running?

  37.     then again, maybe you have added your username and usernameusername
  38.     to the system password dictionary. but that would give a different
  39.     error message?! hmm .. a mystery.
