- Hello,
-
- I have a technical question. We have a DECserver-300 with 16 DEC-423
- ports. A number of ports have to be configured as "remote access". That
- means, connection to that port is initiated by a host or other local
- port. Connection will never be initiated by the external world
- connected to that port.
-
- A DEC423-port support two control signals: DSR and DTR.
-
- Now my question: How do I have to configure the port, is such a way
- that the port outgoing DSR-signal, signals to the external world,
- wether the port is currently remotely accessed or not.
-
- Thanks for any advice, Simon J.N. Rood
