  13. What can anyone tell me about Tape backup. I have a VAX 6410 and 
  14. a MicroVax 3100. The 6410 serves 4 1.2 gig RA90's. The daily
  15. or weekly backup of users files is not that Big a problem.
  16. The problem is 6-10 hours of down time for a Standalone backup.
  17. I do the standalone backup once or twice between September and
  18. May  ( this is the Academic Year). Over the summer it's done
  19. at least 4. As you can mostly likely guess the users do complain
  20. about the down time.

  22.     Now I do not have a SCSI interface for the 6410.
