  20. Doesn't make any difference anyway.  YOU CAN'T USE AN ADJECTIVE AS A TRADEMARK.
  21. You *CAN* use an implicit noun, however.  So DEC has a trademark of "VAX
  22. [computer]," where the "computer" is an implicit noun.  The vacuum cleaner
  23. manufacturer's tradmark is "VAX [vacuum cleaner]."  Since the trademarks
  24. (including implicit nouns) are different, there's no trademark conflict.

  36. hook up a hose to the intake for the cooling fans, and use the computer as a

  42. understanding of astronomy is purely at the amateur level (or below).  So
  43. unless what I'm saying is directly related to VAX/VMS, don't hold me or my
