  16. I used Turbo C++ for Windows successfully.  But the debugger caca-ed
  17. all over my palette, resulting in unreadable everything (menus with
  18. black lettering on a dark dark dark beckground, etc.  It may have worked
  19. otherwise, but I couldn't make enough sense of the screen to know.
