- Hi to Joensuu !
- Mt TINFnn.ZIP/ZOO file of OS/2 applications tools etc (INF file) has
- several possibilities. It's also a good source for other *shipping*
- applications. (You can get it from hobbes probably as TINF31.ZOO or
- from Compart BBS in Helsinki (TINF32.ZIP) or from CIS OS2USER LIB4
- (TINF32 being uploaded next week).
- This message gives me also the chance to say that you should treat IBM's
- list of "Shipping" applications with some care. I noticed that:
- a) there are lots of modules that IBM likes to call applications thus
- multiplying the number. and
- b) several of the applications are NOT shipping - some CA products have
- according to a recent PC Week only just gone into BETA with CA saying
- end 1Q 93 for delivery.
- I'm beginning to worry that people are trying to impress us with these
- figures when there is nothing behind them ! Mike
