- I'm doing some maintenance work on a project, and have noticed that the
- program occasionally leaves COMx files in the directory in which it the
- program was run. Most of the time, these files can be deleted, but
- sometimes, I get an error message like:
-
- [C:\Bin]del com2
- \DEV\COM2
- SYS0003: The system cannot find the path specified.
-
- I suspect that the files are left when the com ports aren't closed
- properly. Am I correct? Is there a way to delete these files from
- the keyboard without trying to delete my com driver?
