- To followup my own post:
-
- I did some more messing around and found that the version of Netbios in
- my \NETWARE directory (v 3.1) will load fine using Novell's 'real' ipx????.com
- (bound for my ne2000 at irq 2 and port 340). So for me, it won't load using
- the requestor's virtual ipx but WILL using the 'real' one. Can anyone else
- confirm this? I wonder if setting the irq at 2 rather than the 'default' 5
- could be causing the problem. Doesn't seem like it since everything works
- fine otherwise........Very frustrating, because I need netbios support in
- DOS sessions and would *like* OS/2 Netware support! Unfortunately as I'm
- sure many of you know, a call to Novell costs $150, and of course my dealer
- doesn't run OS/2. He can place a call to them on my behalf however. I'm
- hoping the experts here can offer some advice or at least tell me that it
- either does or doesn't work for them.
