- Well, these are two items that have kept me somewhat stumped, I hope
- someone can help me out.
-
- 1) I have configured OS2's printer/spooler to use the generic PSCRIPT
- driver and to write the output thereof to a file. This works fine.
- What I want to do is setup my DOS apps ie WordPerfect, Quattro, etc etc
- to print to a particular LPT port, lets say #2, and OS2 which will be
- monitoring the ports will automatically intercept the output and reroute
- to a file, also asking for a target file name. Can this be done? In
- other words, can OS2 act like NOVELL and intercept particular ports?
-
- 2) I read somewhere on this board that there was a util to RESET a
- tokenring card as if it were done by a system reboot. Can anyone tell
- me where to find it? So far my searches have revealed nothing. HELP!!!
-
- Thanks for all insights and contributions.
