  23. PPP Point-to-Point Protocol is a means to transmit network packets over
  24. serial and leased lines. It is similar in function to SLIP but it has
  25. much better features. Like (ondemand link activation, link timeout) look
  26. in comp.protocols.ppp their is a FAQ. Basically it like being on the backbone
  27. from a remote machine.
