- I know of no PPP software ported to OS/2. I asked Morningstar, a P-to-P
- developer for many unix machines, about their intentions for porting to
- OS/2 or NT. The said they had no plans to support OS/2 because of lack of
- interest. They also said that they are considering to port to NT. I
- think that if enough people bugged them they might consider the port to
- OS/2. Their email address is marketing@morningstar.com or Voice (614) 451-1883.
- Their Unix ports are of excellent quality and their support is also excellent.
- I couldn't think of anybody else better to make this product.
-
- Now on the other hand an IBM employee has stated that they understand the
- need for PPP under OS/2, but he couldn't say any more. Reading into this I
- would say that IBM is working on PPP but I wish a time frame would be given
- because I would like to plan this into out network strategy. PPP for OS/2
- would take many people from DOS on their home machines and move them to OS/2.
-
- Oh Well, I can only kermit into work. One session, one download....Sigh!
-
- Waiting for PPP,
