  53. Well, not running either package on my machine, but if the intent is to have
  54. a "safe" shutdown with no long chkdsk sessions on power-up, select shutdown,
  55. wait for disk activity to stop (sometimes I see pauses of up to 10 seconds in
  56. disk activity during shutdown), then press Ctrl-Alt-Del.  When the screen clears,
  57. turn off the power.  I have done this several times, I know that it works.

  61. address this problem.
