  12. I've two Seagate ST1239 AT bus drives, one old modell with 14 jumpers
  13. and a new one. When i try to install OS/2 2.0 GA onto the old drive,
  14. installation aborts at disk 1 with a trap 0d.

  16. The new ST1239 accepts OS/2 without problems. But when i add the old
  17. ST1239 to the system (both drives correctly setup as master and slave),
  18. the bootup process aborts with the infamous 'Call your representitive'
  19. screen and a trap 0d as soon as it peeks at the second drive! Very
  20. strange. With a WD Piranhia as an AT bus slave i have no problems. I
  21. tried different bus speeds, I/O waitstates, cache on, cach off, but
  22. otherwise then booting slower or faster, no difference could be
  23. observed.

  25. This took place on a 486-33 with 8 MB RAM, ATI Vantage, with or without
  26. ibm1s506.add patch.
