  22.   When I called Adaptec's technical support line last week and asked
  23. about the 1542C, after placing me on hold and consulting with someone
  24. the support person said, "That article wasn't supposed to be
  25. published!"  That is, there is no 1542C (yet).

  27.   I, too, want to know about it ASAP.  I intend to purchase one to
  28. replace my 1542A.
