- I have a 30meg FAT partition with DOS and OS/2 on it, and a 90meg HPFS
- partition. In order to free up some room on the FAT drive, I was moving
- some of the OS/2 files over to the HPFS and changing the paths in config.sys.
- Evidently I moved the wrong thing, and the next time I shutdown and rebooted,
- my Command Prompts and a few other folders were gone. Everything else I
- could replace.
-
- My partitioning is certainly a mistake I've learned from. I made the 30meg
- FAT to hold DOS and OS/2, not realizing how much stuff I need to use when I
- boot plain DOS, nor the size of some of the games that won't run under OS/2
- at all. I should be getting another drive soon, and have 120meg each of FAT
- and HPFS.
